Art dynamic introduction
Dialogue - special exhibition features Jochen Mühlenbrink, Koyama Toshitaka
We bring together two artists' seemingly divergent thought processes, perceiving the subtle yet vibrant revelations within. Interweaving and juxtaposing, delving deep and resurfacing, we anticipate sparking three-dimensional dialogues. We invite you to join us in reading and reinterpreting the works.
Jochen Mühlenbrink's creations originate from life experiences. On foggy glass windows, there are unintentional traces of fingerprints left behind. Visual focus is momentarily transformed into two different time and space dimensions. Through painting, he attempts to explore the blurred boundaries and subtle relationships between virtual images and real environments.
Koyama Toshitaka employs close-up photography techniques to detach objects from their entirety, thereby showcasing the inherent characteristics of each individual. Through the abstract composition formed by traces, he constructs a sense of human will and freedom. He also prompts viewers to become aware of the underlying presence of people, events, memories, and emotions associated with the objects. This can be seen as an existentialist depiction of the existence of "human," "present," and "here."

Oil painting and photography, two distinctly different mediums of artistic creation. Is there a possibility of bridging their shared language? We bring together two artists' seemingly divergent thought processes, perceiving the subtle yet vibrant revelations within. Interweaving and juxtaposing, delving deep and resurfacing, we anticipate sparking three-dimensional dialogues. We invite you to join us in reading and reinterpreting the works.
