About
Jisook Jung
I am an observer curious about the truths of the world. To understand the cosmological principles, everything in the inner world and outer world can be the target of observation.

My works are mainly made up of lumpy clouds, organic forms that seem to be moving, and works of vivid primary colors. When we observe the inner world, we feel as if we are swimming leisurely in a huge cloud, and I embody that intuitive feeling in the form of a lump. And, there are many organic forms in my work that seem to capture the moment when creature moves, all of which express 'living' in various ways. I wanted to express the phvsical
and sensory activities that constantly take place because creature is alive (and to live) in visual form. Here, 'creature' does not necessarily refer to a single creature, but rather is a symbol that encompasses everything that moves and changes, including all beings with life, a society in which their beings are organically connected, and even the lively inner world of humans.
